Registration Problems
Registration code doesn't work
If your code is not accepted... For a new registration code please send an email to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it with:
- Product Name
- "Owner Name" as displayed on Today screen or via Start / Settings / Owner Information
- Where you purchased product
- Approx. date when you purchased product
Registering a new device
If you switch to a new Windows Mobile device, to register simply enter the same "Owner Name" as on your previous device and your registration code will be accepted.
Owner Name is entered via Start Menu /Settings / Owner Information
Note: You purchase a "user" license - you can install the software on your device and transfer it to a new device if you upgrade - but you cannot resell or transfer the license to another user.
Lost code or never received?
For all of our products the registration code is generated dynamically using your device "Owner Name" - UPPER/lower case IS important.
If you haven't received a code within 1 hour of purchase or if your code does not work or you changed the "Owner Name" after a hard-reset please send an email to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it with:
- Product Name
- "Owner Name" as displayed on Today screen or via Start / Settings / Owner Information
- Where you purchased product
- Approx. date when you purchased product
If you just upgraded your ROM, or reinstalled after a hard-reset - don't forget to reenter the device "Owner Name" exactly as it was previously.

Upgrades
Upgrading to a newer version
All products come with free support and free upgrades until the next major release. That is if you purchase v2.10, you receive free upgrades until v3.0 is released.
New upgrades are posted on our website. To upgrade soft-reset, then simply download the latest TRIAL version and install over your current version. Major upgrades will sometimes require uninstalling previous version. In that case the installer will display the steps you need to follow.
In general, major upgrades will be free of charge if you purchased your license within 3 months of the release.
For other users generally a reduced price upgrade will be available.
APK File install
APK files are Android application installers, use this method to install over-the-air without using marketplace
1. Open your Android device settings and click “Applications”
2. If unchecked, click “Unknown Sources”. If “Unknown sources” is already checked, skip to step 4.

3. Click “OK” on the “Attention” dialog. “Unknown sources” will now have a green check.
4. Download .apk file
5. Open your notifications or the location where .apk file is stored and click to install.
6. Click “Install” and then click “Open”.
Cab File downloads
CAB files are device installers, use this method to install over-the-air or if you have a Mac
To install a CAB file on your device, attach the device to your PC via ActiveSync - then copy the file to your device.
Then in File Explorer on the device - click the file to install it automatically.

How to install a CAB file
CAB files are device installers, use this method to install over-the-air or if you have a Mac
To install a CAB file on your device, attach the device to your PC via ActiveSync - then copy the file to your device.
Then in File Explorer on the device - click the file to install it automatically.

Do you support iPhone devices?
Currently we have no iPhone products and no plans to release one. Due to the restrictions placed on iPhone software - advanced applications such as phoneAlarm are not possible in the Apple Store (would require jailbreak).
Do you support Android devices?
Currently our first Android product "Phone Alarm" is in beta testing and will be ready for release in March or April 2011. See here for progress and details.
phoneAlarm Questions
How should I report a problem?
For any users who have problems - the easiest way for us to provide help is if you send a log file recording the issue.
To enable logging: Go to About screen in phoneAlarm settings and click on the phoneAlarm icon - then activate DETAIL logging option. (only activate other options when requested).
After the problem has occurred, send the phoneAlarm.log in the \Program Files\phoneAlarm directory to -

alarmToday Questions
Why do I not see a new Outlook appointment on Today Screen?
Due to a "feature" of Pocket Outlook, appointments are only copied from Outlook to the system Alarm database every 4 to 5 days (when System alarm 'calnot' is next executed). Any appointments which occur after the next scheduled 'calnot' will not appear until AFTER calnot executes.
FIX: Enable Advanced option "Include Cal. items without alarm" to see all alarms including recurring alarms, appointments without an alarm (incl. public holidays) and also normal alarms not yet in system database.
